Soccer

Dylan was so excited to finally be able to be a part of a team. We signed him up for soccer this year and he LOVED it. He is really good at it too! The first practice and game were quite funny since none of the kids had a clue what they were doing, but Dylan caught on so fast. At first he was keeping the ball too close to him and just tripping over it rather than kicking it, but in no time he was making tons of goals.

He was definitely the star player on his team. In game number 1, his team won 13 to 2. He made 9 of his teams 13 goals, Declan made 2, and the other team scored one goal for us - wasn't that nice?! In each of the other games he made between 6 and 8 goals per game. He was fun to watch!

They only lost one of their games, and it was the one game that Dylan didn't get to be to. The coach said they really missed him and was sure they would have won if he had been there. His coach was really great and taught Dylan a lot.

The team picture:
Dylan's trophy. He was really looking forward to the last game since he knew he would be getting a trophy - they all do. He's very proud of it.
Here's a little video clip of Dylan making a goal. I love how he lost the ball, but he was great at getting right back in there and taking the ball back to shoot his goal. Way to go Dylan!
