Trick or Treat

This year was quite the milestone for our family...we all dressed up for Halloween. Dylan as Superman, Easton as a chicken, Mom as a witch, and Dad as Caesar. We started off the night by going to our ward trunk-or-treat. They had a soup and chili cook-off with cornbread which was so yummy. Dylan was super excited to do the trunk-or-treating, so that was a little tough to wait for. He had fun playing with his friends though and then LOVED trunk-or-treating. Easton hobbled along with dad and Dylan for a while, and then he got to tag along in the stroller enjoying a sucker. One treat was good for him!
Just before we went to the "Trunk-or-Treat". Dylan even sported black hair for the event.

Dylan and his cute friend Jaylie. They have so much fun together!
Dylan and Dad
Easton and Dad. Our cute chicken rarely wore the jacket that night...a little too warm, and the food and suckers were a bit too messy!
Easton's entertainment. I think he enjoyed chewing on and playing with the stick as much as eating the sucker. He sure was a mess when he was done!
After the trunk-or-treat, we came home for Easton to go to bed, and me to hand out candy at home. Before Dylan when out trick-or-treating with Dad, he had a fun time sitting on the porch handing out candy to the kids that came by. Then dad took Dylan out trick-or-treating around the neighborhood with Jaylie, Kip, Kajsa and Breklyn. Dylan and Jaylie had a fun time together and Dylan even got to go into a haunted house. It was fun to hear his stories of the night when he came home with a full bucket. We hadn't thought to dump out his candy from the trunk-or-treat first, so his bucket was pretty heavy. Now he has way too much candy which we are slowly letting him eat, but he sure had fun getting it! He was ready to go again the next day.

Tim makes a really good Caesar. I never would have guessed. That is so weird to get hot on Halloween.
