1st Day of School

The first day of school was a very exciting time at our house. Dylan could not wait to start kindergarten and have school everyday. Easton was so excited to be like his big brother and get to go to preschool. I was excited to have something to keep them occupied and give me a bit of a break. Am I a bad mom that I didn't shed a single tear? I was so excited for them! I even had the first day of school butterflies that I felt back in the day when I would start school. Fun times!

We had to capture some pictures of the first day of school. It was a beautiful BRIGHT and SUNNY day. Not perfect for pictures. Oh well!

Such big kids!

Easton has a cute lizard backpack with his name embroidered on it (I guess I should get a picture of his backside). No, I don't splurge on that kind of thing. We were signing Dylan up for soccer during the summer and a lady that was working at the rec center heard me calling Easton by name. She told me that she had an Easton too. Then she asked if he needed a backpack since she was hoping to find someone with the name Easton to pass her son's backpack on to since his name was on it. I was picturing his name written in Sharpie black marker on there, but I'm not picky! She took down our phone number and called us to arrange a time for us to come pick it up. He LOVED it and it really is a cute backpack. He wouldn't go anywhere without it for the longest time.

We can't forget Gavin! He misses his brothers when they are gone! Can you tell that he loves to play with Mr. Potato Head?
